OM10 at the Royal Botanical Gardens

Awhile ago I became obsessed with getting a digital SLR camera. I overcame the believe that I NEEDED TO HAVE ONE by reminding myself that I had a perfectly good (and equally bulky) Olympus OM10 that I hadn't touched for maybe 10 years. A few weeks ago I bought film for it and last week I went to the botanical gardens and reacquainted myself with F-stops. The resulting photos are nice, but nothing out of the ordinary, but I expected that; I will have to run a lot more film through the camera before I'm decent at looking through a lens again.

Tools for Action

http://cca-actions.org/

Actions: What You Can Do With the City documents and presents specific projects by a large and diverse group of activists whose personal involvement has triggered radical change in today’s cities. These human motors of change include architects, engineers, university professors, students, children, pastors, artists, skateboarders, cyclists, root eaters, pedestrians, municipal employees, and many others who answer the question of what can be done to improve the urban experience with surprising and often playful actions.

Cute and very clever stop animation, would post it here but it too wide and looks messy. View it on youtube.
